               ABOUT THRIVING MOSS PUBLICATIONS    

Thriving Moss Publications publishes literary work with a philosophy indicative of its name.  In what is considerably a hostile environment for most forest plants--shady and wet--woodland moss thrives. Its unique ability to attach itself to any foundation in its environment--be it wood, rock, or soil--and be nourished by those foundations along with the constraints that keep other plants away, defines its purpose. 

Thriving Moss Publications publishes books and spoken word compact discs and tapes that risk the comfort of a normal literary environment, by asking new questions, in order to break new ground. "If a simple drink of water can nourish, what happens when we immerse ourselves?" asks our debut author, Gregory Leifel. 

Just as moss has the ability to break down solid rock over time, Thriving Moss Publications aims to bring to the literary scene unique works that immerse us in language, ideas, and new possibility in the expression of a good old story.
